Expanding Innovation and Cooperation

The best possible care for our patients, whether in everyday situations or complex medical challenges, is only achievable through a strong network of dedicated partners.
Therefore, we offer clinics and physicians across Europe innovative treatment options to promote patient well-being. Our goal is to continue expanding this offering through close collaboration between clinics, cooperation partners, and tissue banks.

From tissue donation to transplant

The Tissue Donation Department plays a central role in carrying out essential tasks. Without the commitment of this team, there would be a shortage of donated tissue available for processing into human transplants used in upcoming operations across various medical fields.

National and international recovery programs and clinics participating in living donation programs are therefore essential cooperation partners. Additionally, the comprehensive donor screenings commissioned to external laboratories must be carefully coordinated.

Facility 2026 - More Capacity, More Possibilities

The construction of our new 2,526 m² production facility for human bone and soft tissue was a major project, with challenges that were overcome thanks to the tireless commitment of everyone involved. Preparations are currently in full swing to obtain the building usage permit from the relevant authority.

The production area, including its clean rooms, covers approximately 1,480 m² of the total area. Once commissioned in 2026, the facility will provide significant redundancies and, in addition to the existing annual production of over 69,900 tissue transplants, will enable the generation of an additional 100,000 human tissue transplants from bone, tendons, acellular dermis, and fascia for patient care across Germany.
